2014 Puma evoSpeed 1.2 SL is Puma's lightest speed boot.

It has been made with 3 main focus areas: Light, Flex and Fit.

This SL version is the lightest in the category.

EvoSpeed 1.2 is made from one piece of ultra thin microfibre from the japanses specialists at Teijin, which both provide accurate ball control and ensure a good and safe fit.

The SL version has also been perforated, to save further grams on the boot.

The upper is further supported by Pumas Everfit Cage, which is located on the midfoot thus creating stability and and a fit that wraps around the foot.

The general boot fit has also been changed, and this evoSPEED 1.2 is more round and pointy on the tip when compared to the earlier Velocity models.

The sole is made from PEBAX material, which can both be grounded to become thin and is also light.

This material further ensures optimal flex under the forefoot, thus letting the boot follow and facilitate the natural movements of the foot - somewhat similar to a sprinters shoe.
