Established in 1982 Lloyd & Jones are one of the leading independent Engineers Merchants in UK with a turnover in excess of £33 Million and 20 branches through out England and Wales.

Lloyd & Jones - Carriage & Collection

We aim to dispatch Royal Mail / Fedex orders the same working day if ordered before 2pm.

Some larger items sent by carrier maybe need to be dispatched on the next working day.

Please note: We do NOT dispatch on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays.

Royal Mail delivery is normally 2nd class Parcel Post and is available to all UK Postcodes.

Carrier deliveries are to UK mainland addresses only and exclude the Scottish highlands, offshore islands and Northern Ireland.

Carrier deliveries will require a signature and will be delivered during office hours.

Please ensure you are able to accept deliveries during this period, otherwise the carrier may charge for re-delivery after two failed deliveries.

Listings may include optional priority delivery options and surcharges for carrier to Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland. Please review each listing individually.

Any damage or shortages must be stated on the carrier?s sheet and reported in writing (by email) to us within 24 hours.

Alternatively goods can be collected from one of our branches without carriage charges by arrangement (please allow 2 -3 days for inter branch shipment) - please see our website for locations and opening hours.

Lloyd & Jones ? Warranty

Items listed as "New" are offered with the relevant Manufacturer?s warranty on a return to base basis unless the listing specifies otherwise in the description. Items considered faulty should be returned to our address below at your expense; please enclose a copy of your proof of purchase.

If the item is listed as "Used" will not normally be offered with warranty, any difference will be noted in the description. Items may be listed as sold as seen or for spares or repair.

We will endeavour to list as best we can any faults, flaws or missing parts. We do recommend viewing these items before purchasing.

Lloyd & Jones - Payment

Payment should be received within 5 days of wining an auction; if payment is not received by then we cannot guarantee that the item will still be available. Buy it now items generally require immediate payment via PayPal. We accept payment via PayPal and most credit and debit cards. Goods can only be shipped to the card holders or their PayPal registered address. All prices include VAT and items are supplied with a VAT invoice.

Your Rights as a Consumer to Cancel - Distance Selling Regulations

As a Consumer you have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us Lloyd & Jones Engineers Limited, contact details above, of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). We will acknowledge receipt of such a cancellation without delay.

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at the address below without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost and risk of returning the goods.

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

We endeavour to ensure all items listed are in stock and ready for dispatch, unfortunately sometimes we don?t have the item ? if this is the case we will email you to let you know and refund your payment immediately.
