What is presented here is the IMAX version of the film in 1.78:1 aspect ratio. This is not simply open-matte. While most of the film is the same as the widescreen but cropped (it was framed for widescreen when shot), this version has scenes where the frame has been moved and adjusted. Another obvious difference is the color-timing: colors are richer and there is no yellow layer prevalent on the official Blu-ray release."
