Offered is this black-painted folk art piece made from railroad spikes and other steel pieces welded together to form a railroad hand car or pump car, with two "riders". Two railroad spikes form the riders, with other parts forming the base, pump mechanism, wheels, etc. (None of the pieces move.) One of the pieces is marked "RIO 1928" but I don't know what that references; I presume that piece dates to 1928 but I don't know that for sure. I don't know who made it or when.

The piece is approx. 8" high,  about 8" wide and approx. 3" from front to back. Except for one missing wheel it is in good condition overall. It is solid and has no loose parts. There are some light surface marks from handling, some light surface dust and natural bumps, etc. in the steel. Despite the missing wheel it will sit flat on a level surface, as shown.
