Very rare or unique display point of sale demonstrator circa approx. 1940's or 50's. This is a chain lock that has an exterior key that unlocks by turning the plate to release the chain. Made by The Lockwood Mfg. Co.  Base measures 4" x 14".  Display is 6" tall. Not sure if other companies have made a similar lock. One side of the display has grooves to hold a display card but it is missing. In perfect working condition. The key easily comes out of the lock. The small chain to hold the key is missing length and the ring. The lock cylinder is brass and the interior parts are steel with a brass plating.  The wood looks like maple. Except for the missing card and small length of chain the piece is in excellent condition.

I guarantee that all of my items are antique/vintage. A small number of reproductions will be listed but will be identified as such.
