This is a very delicate wood box with an area for bone pliers for spreading gloves.  This does not have the pliers in it and it does not come with the box.  The glove box is bone on the outside, silk and velvet on the inside.  It has brass edging and closure and the knot of woven leather on top serves as the handle.   The inside and out side look worn and it is ripped.  There box has bellows which increases the capacity The glove box is 10.5" long, 3.5" wide, 1" tall and 1/2" deep.  The collector box is from the 1900s.  The interior is lined with greenish / blueish silk and velvet.
