1950s Pendant lamp designed by Bent Karlby for Lyfa A/S, Denmark. Rare.


Main lampshade is made of steel lacquered grey on the outside and white on the inner with a decorative polished edge. A central core or structure made of hand blown opaline glass on which the shade sits giving a glare free illumination. There is one Bakelite bulb socket presents decorative bulb housing and chromed stem. One new white plastic ceiling cone and new long electrical wire. 


The lamp is in very good /good condition and in full working order. The lamp takes one e27 bulb. Wear and tear and rust spots to shade (please see pictures).


Can be used with 110-230v supplies


As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician.
