David Perry Lindley, American musician, born 21 March 1944 in San Marino, California, USA. Lindley was an original member of the psychedelic-folk group "Kaleidoscope" (1966-70). After Kaleidoscope, he became a session and live musician with artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Warren Zevon, & Curtis Mayfield, amongst others. He also formed his own band called "El Rayo-X". Being a multi-instrumentalist, Lindley is noted for his vast array string instruments,
