This vintage Neumann KM 84i SDC phantom-powered cardioid microphone set is a must-have for any collector or music professional. With its XLR 3-pin connectivity, this microphone requires no adaptors.

The KM84 has become a favorite for classical music recording and is an excellent choice for drum overheads. It works great for snares, hats, piano and strings.

Made between 1966 and 1992 in Germany, this microphone set is of superior quality and has been tested and verified at Guitar Center to be in excellent working condition. They couldn’t believe how sensitive these mics were and they were quite impressed with the sound quality. These particular mics are from the early 80’s around the time  my grandfather had a small recording studio in Maryland and later worked as a manager for a radio station. They have had only one owner and now I have inherited them.
