This is a 1960s vintage teak ATAPCO cigar ashtray, with a removable glass tray and a cork ball that allows you to stub out the cigar. My dad was a cigar smoker (who lived to be 86 - so there you go). He normally smoked kind of cheap cigars, Roi-Tan blunts were his go to. I once smuggled some cubans I purchased in Switzerland, in a nice leather case, and not sure he enjoyed him. Pretty sure the statue of limitations has run out on that crime. Anyway - I rarely smoke a cigar and when I do I'm on the golf course or a sailboat or playing poker somewhere, never in my house. So it needs a good home to someone who has taste and class. Like my dad did. Don't be sad you are taking it from me, he left me many, many great memories and a ton of mid-century modern furniture also. Lol. Canoe trips, water skiing, camping, we did it all. A great dad.
