Note on shipping:  I wrap ALL of my books in plastic wrap, then protect them in cardboard, often using several layers. If the book is particularly valuable, I often use a box.  My methods are designed to get the book you paid for to you IN THE SAME CONDITION it left here. 

A lot of booksellers just throw their books in a polybag and leave them to the mercy of the Post Office.  I pack carefully!
