exact item shown, from an estate, a very clean, pristine condition Dymo 1040 label maker, original box, display stand, instructions.  I remember having one of these "back in the day" and I used mine a lot - it showed its wear, this one is really just like new.  And that awful telephone flesh/pink color -that has disappeared (I think thakfully) but with this label maker it's back in all its naked glory.  The last photo is an ad I found on the internet for this label maker, which dates it to 1964 which feels about right....
