Up for sale is a neat tape covered paper mache crow decoy. The decoy likely dates to around 1935. I assume the tape was added later but it has some good age, maybe 1950s or 1960s. I'm not sure if the tape was added to prolong the life and use of the decoy or if it was added as artistic expression. Either way its now a neat piece of outsider or folk art. I got this at the Nashville Antiques show recently. The dealer was from Michigan but not sure where they sourced it.

About 14 and 3/4 inches long. See soda can for scale.

Nice condition. Some wear to the tape. On the bottom there is a section where the tape has come off or was never fully covered. Otherwise you can see some areas of wear. Tip of the beak has some loss. See photos and video.
