work closely with an insurance company and this part is on
consignment to resell.
Some parts are bought in by them new
for warranty spares and kept till out of warranty and then released as
obsolete stock if not needed. Many laptops are bought brand new if there may be an ongoing stock delay.
Other
parts are a customer returned laptop within 30 or 90 days and then
stripped by them and kept for warranty spares. All parts are fully
tested by them before being sent to us to resell as they do not wish for
an ebay presence and so forth.
