Pathé Baby Coq d’Or 9.5m cinema projector. Circa 1937. Beautiful original condition. Works correctly.

“The new COQ D’OR projector includes many improvements over the old models. Its study was carried out to give it maximum performance both in terms of brightness and fixity.

Equipped with the best lamp (o) which allows, without any fear of deformation of the film during stops at the titles, a very bright projection, the COQ D'OR has been designed for a 1m screen. 25 base approximately at maximum, sufficient size for a room of approximately 50 people.
Its mechanism includes, in addition to a very regular claw system, a new patented device for stopping the titles by automatic locking and unlocking.
This entirely new and very effective device has, over previous models, the advantage of completely eliminating the jolt of the image at the time of replay, which gives a fixity equal to that of titles edited in length.
The resistance placed in the base has a rheostat allowing connection to all currents, alternating or direct from 105 to 125 volts. For currents of 220 volts an additional resistance is instantly connected to the device.

The operation of this projector is very quiet and its elegant presentation ranks it among the most modern precision devices." - Pathé Baby Catalog, Sd (Ca. 1938)
