This is the frame for a what was a 1950's / 60's rattan garden sofa. The "Astro," style chairs are pretty common and reproduced, but the sofas are pretty rare I believe.
I had this outside and over the years the covering deteriorated. The frame is pretty sound and could be recovered in a rush or rattan. Or alternatively could have fabric cushions made.
The second photo shows an example of the original covering that was on the item.
Too rare to scrap! so a bargain to anyone can make use of it.
