I have sold toys and collectibles for several years. I am also a musician, a computer nerd, and owned an audio and video production business for years.  While I have an intermediate skill level with electronics I am not an electrical engineer. While the electronic components I am selling are New Old Stock [NOS] I am not an expert in their use or measurements.

Now for the story...  My friend’s father and uncle owned an adjoining Barbershop AND Radio & TV repair shop in the 1960s and 70s [Just thinking what humorous business moto they might have come up with like “How bout a shave and a tube check.”]  They closed these shops in the early 1980's.  His father took all his tubes, and electronic components with him and stored them in his home.  Seventeen years ago my friend’s Dad passed.  My friend just wanted to get rid of his father’s electronic trinkets.  He asked if I wanted them. “Sure,” I said thinking I might be able to find some of the WWII JAN tubes and IC’s for amps that I and my fellow musician friends might desire.  Fast forward to the present time, the treasures are still in boxes, I’m old, and don’t want to leave them to my daughter who will most likely deposit these NOS vintage electronics into a dumpster!  So here we go.
