This pin-up calendar is from the Thomas Skemp collection.  In the past you may have seen some of his collection listed by Grapefruit Moon Gallery.  Every Wednesday over the next several months I will be listing additional items from his collection.  Auction format and Buy it Nows.  These items will include artists such as Gil Elvgren, Rolf Armstrong, William Medcalf, Earl Moran, Zoe Mozert, T.N. ITEM:  Rare Vintage Original 1953 George Petty Ridgid Tools pin-up calendar.  The Ridge Tool Company of Elyria, Ohio.  From what I understand this is the complete 1953 Ridgid Calendar. March through December.  Apparently, George Petty was hunting and didn't get the art work delivered on time. There are no Jan. or Feb. illustrations.  Calendar measures 12 1/4" x 24".

PLEASE NOTE:  

• The back of the pin-up has staining and discoloration.
• The stain from the back has transferred to December.  Slightly onto November and barely onto October.  Please see pictures.
• There is a small piece taken out of the bottom right of the December page.  See picture.
