A very beautiful, hand made, hand painted doll in a traditional deep pink sari. The doll is very detailed and with a bindi and nose stud. Her features are hand-painted onto a clay head. Her body is made from fabric over a wire frame. She wears a ring a necklace and bracelet and carries a small bag. I believe this doll to be from the fifties or sixties but it has been so well cared for it has kept the stunning pink colour of the costume.
