Please note that this item can only fix PCB problems. Some HDDs have additional internal damage that is not easy to detect.
The ROM IC on the PCB is programmed with the unique parameters/settings of its original HDD.
You need to swap the ROM IC (marked by a red circle on the photo) then the donor PCB will be compatible with your hard drive.
