Mammy's Lullaby a 1930 Irving Sklare Publishing Co product that operated out of the Heathman Hotel Building on Broadway and Salmon in Portland, Oregon. Written by Gertrude E. Myers and published in 1930, I suspect that the composer of this piece was capitalizing on vaudevillian and popular culture. Nice cover art of a Southern African American woman rocking a child to sleep in a rocking chair, presumably on a southern porch.
