Chasing Shadows is paperback, the other three are hardback.

None of them have any writing in them and the pages are clean. Volume 1 has a few pages with indentations from some sort of paper clip and Volume 2 has a couple sections of pages with heavier indentations (clearly photographed). There are a few pages that had small folds at the corners.

 

The covers and dust jackets are clean with just a little wear. Volume 1 has a very small tear top front. 

The hardbacks all have tight, square binding. Chasing shadows has a bit of an arch to the binding.
