Very cool personal items acquired back in 2016 at the estate sale of the late Gerald Behn here in Washington, D.C.    Items were issued as educational pieces from the Department of Treasury as part of the Bicentennial celebration in 1976.   One item is a brochure of the Secret Service Protection responsibilities documenting a number of Presidents (as seen), the other is a brochure that folds out into a large 14" x 26"  poster (could be framed to display) documenting the origins and history of the Secret Service from its inception under President Lincoln to stop counterfeiters undermining the War effort during the Civil War (mainly the South who had the best plate engravers).

As mentioned, these two items were acquired from the estate of the late Secret Service Agent Gerald Behn. You can read his biography on the internet as he rose to become President John F. Kennedy's personal head of Security for his White House detail (SAIC - Special Agent in Charge)  back in 1961 up till the very day President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Tx on November 22, 1963.   Two pretty neat items and with great association from a significant Secret Service agent under President Kennedy !

These are not often seen and certainly a must for those who collect Secret Service related materials.
