As a former authorized Krell dealer when this piece was new, I can tell you there are few phono sections that can rival this KPE phono preamp. The KPE is versatile and works with practically any line stage preamp yielding exquisite dimensionality and tremendous depth with no tonal colorations.

I’ve used this with various medium– and high– output moving coil cartridges. The specs on this can be found online if you’re curious about your specific cartridge usage.

The Krell KPE being sold comes complete with external power supply, original cables, owner’s manual, and original box. There are low hours on this piece in near mint condition.
