We test all of the items we sell to ensure they are in proper working order. If they are not, we will note that in the listing. Also, if there are items that we do not test that will be noted in the listing as well. 

If an item is new in an unopened package, we have no way of knowing whether the batteries included have corroded or not. We also cannot ensure that the product will work or not. You are taking a chance on these items as we cannot properly inspect nor test it.

Jewelry and gem items are carefully inspected for a maker mark and imperfections. Any findings will be included in the listing. Some marks are so small that we either do not see them or cannot read them clearly enough to make a claim as to what it says. We do not do metal or stone testing.
