Hand-wired 1960's style Fender Stratocaster wiring harness upgrade for American or Mexican Fender Stratocasters.
-This wiring set up features CTS Dish Back 250k Vintage style potentiometers, a .1uf ceramic disk capacitor like what was used in Fender Stratocasters during the late 50's through most of the 60's, a 3 way switch and vintage style pull back cloth wire.
-The .1uf ceremic disc capacitor affects a wider sweep on the the high and mid frequencies. When the tone is all the way up on 10 you will notice the sound is a little warmer with slightly rounded off highs. When the tone is almost all the way rolled back it produces a warm, creamy, fuzzy tone. The .1uf cap was originally used in old teles to try to emulate the tone of a bass guitar.
-Wired to vintage spec with a master volume, the middle tone controls the neck pickup and the bottom tone controls the middle pickup. There is no tone for the bridge pickup.
-The CTS vintage style pots have a shorter threaded bushing designed for a stratocaster pickguard. The backs of the pots have the 'dish back' indent like many of the pots used in the 50's and 60's.
-This has a 3 way switch like the strats in the 50's and 60's. Fender switched to the 5 way switch in the mid 70's. If you prefer a 5 way switch feel free to send me a message.

-V/T/T (master volume, middle tone for the neck, bottom tone for middle pickup)
-.1UF Ceramic Disc capacitor (cap may be different than the pic depending inventory but will be .1uf ceramic)
-Vintage style pull back cloth wire (7 strand 22 gauge wire for the clearest signal path)
-Fender style Vintage Stratocaster Aluminum Shield
