It will allow a manual transmission to be used on crankshafts that were never designed for such use, whether drilled but not reamed to final size, or even totally undrilled. It will also allow the normal use of a crankshaft that has been damaged by a 'spun' pilot bushing. Works on any Mopar engine / crankshaft, 318, 340, 360, 383, 400, 413, 426 (incl.
