DESCRIPTION: 

This is the RARE UNUSED punch-out book HOPALONG CASSIDY.  It was published by Whitman in 1951.  #291825.  Shows Hopalong’s Bar-20 Ranch. COMPLETE and NOT A REPRODUCTION.

 

BIO

Hopalong Cassidy is a fictional cowboy hero who was created by Clarence E. Mulford in 1904.  Starting in 1935, Hopalong was played in the movies by actor William Boyd.  Hopalong was also featured in television and on the radio.  Being Very Popular, he even had an amusement park named Hoppyland in Los Angeles! 

 

This punch-out book has 6 cardstock pages of punch-outs.  The back cover shows what the scene looks like after it is assembled. 

 

The book includes:

1.            Stand-ups of Hopalong on his horse, Johnnie, California, Lucky, and Sheriff

2.            Various animals, including, a dog, coyote, mountain lion, snake, horses, and cows

3.            a chuckwagon

4.            fences & desert backgrounds

CONDITION:

This punch-out book is in overall MINT UNUSED condition.  Nothing has been punched out.  The front/back covers have minimal shelf wear. For being 73 years old, the book REALLY LOOKS GREAT!!
