The bezel features a telemeter scale and is made of gold. The buttons and the winding crown are also in gold. The latter is original, and pressure-tightened. The glass is of the flat sapphire type with no scratches. It is driven by a modular self-winding mechanical movement based on ETA 2894 with quick-set chronograph and date functions. The caseback is screwed down and has all the specifications of the model. It was waterproof up to a depth of 100 meters.
