AMX now offers a new innovative family of control products called the NI Series, combining the proven technology of the NetLinx Integrated Controller with the NetLinx ME260 Master into a single integrated control system. AMX provides the simplicity, flexibility and cost-effective benefits of ordering and installing a single unit. Three product configurations are available: NI-2000, NI-3000 and NI-4000. Each is designed to deliver a competitively priced control solution for commercial and residential applications of any scale.

SINGLE ROOM NEEDS

The NetLinx NI-2000 satisfies the control and automation features common in a single room, which may include the integration of a limited number of VCR and DVD players, projectors, lighting, thermostats and other electronic equipment.

All of the NI Series control solutions have the ability to simultaneously communicate over the high-speed ICSNet control network, long distance ICSHub system link, AXLink databus, Ethernet-driven computer networks and the TCP/IP world of the Internet.

A staple of AMX control technology, the NI Series of products offers the flexibility to upgrade current Axcent3 Control Systems to leading NetLinx Control System architecture. Supporting all NetLinx applications and AMX Touch Panels, the NI Series of products enables the convergence toward a unified AMX Control System platform.

For those customers using NetLinx Studio on NI series, they must update to NetLinx Studio 1.2, build 200 or higher. This patch to NetLinx Studio 1.2 provides enhanced support for the NI-2000, NI-3000 and NI-4000 products, improved compiler performance, and updated Keywords.dat, NetLinx.axi and axpower.txt files. This patch must be installed on top of a NetLinx Studio 1.2 installation.
