In changing roles as Daimyo, Samurai, Bushi, Sensei or Hatamoto, the players in “Bushido” control the fortunes of feudal Japan and try to assert themselves against their fellow players on the narrow path between power and honor. The very special appeal of the game lies in the complex, mutual dependence of the daimyo and his respective samurai.

Bushido, the way of the warrior is not a game of conquest in the traditional sense. More important than winning land and winning battles are loyalty, tradition and honor.
