Hallmarked  for LONDON  1805 , with makers mark for  PETER  BATEMAN   &   WILLIAM  BATEMAN .


Total weight of sterling silver is  590. 5 gms.  /  18. 9 troy ozs ,  including wooden  handle,  probably box wood ,  measuring  29. 5 cms across from end of handle to tip of spout ,   approximately  13 cms  across body from front to back ,   height  18. 5 cms to top of handle.


Made from a good gauge of Georgian solid silver in shaped oval form,  elegant swan neck spout.


Nice hand engraved decoration around body and between panels , also decorated spout,   standing on four ball feet.


Box wood handle firmly attached to body.


Pours well,    NO leaks.  LID fits well,  nice flush box hinge.


Holds  over  2 1/2  PTS.    /    1, 450  ML.


CREST.     LION TYPE HEAD.


In good condition throughout,  with no initials,  dents,  splits or repairs.
