Meccano Magazine Vol. XLVII no. 7 - July 1962 - Good condition

For sale we have a vintage Meccano Magazine from July 1962 with many interesting articles aimed primarily at boys of the 1960s era.

In addition to the usual modelling subjects (Hornby / Revell / Meccano etc), Meccano Magazines of the 1960s branched out into more general surveys of transport and industry and some of the typical articles can be viewed in the images provided. Also of great interest are the many period adverts included such as Ian Allan books, Waddington's game - Risk, electronics careers available to boys wishing to join the British Army, Dinky Toys, Transistor Pocket Radios and Contemporary Brickplayer.

The condition of this copy is good and there are no inscriptions on the covers or on any of the pages. There is a very small tear on the bottom edge of the front cover and a crease at the top right hand corner (see image 1) There is also some very slight staining at the top and bottom outside edge of the first page (see image 4 which is the rear side).

Postage to UK locations is free and the magazine will be sent by second class post in a stiffened envelope or one with additional stiff card inserted and a 'do not bend' message.
