Interesting & unusual Victorian bronze copy of L'Accolade (The Hug) in the style of Pierre Jules Mene.
The statue depicts two ponies in an embrace on a roughly-sculpted base. It has then been mounted on a raised polished wooden plinth which bears a silver plated Continental presentation plaque reading:
"Sali and Sudha With Love Brij and Munnie. May 78".
Weight: 1.711 kg. Height: 180 mm. Length: 215 mm. Width: 135 mm. Unsigned.
