We are pleased to be selling thousands of early engravings, lithographs, and prints from the incredible collection amassed by Winfield Robbins (1840-1910) of Arlington, Massachusetts. After his death in 1910, the collection was donated to local institutions where it has sat for the last 100+ years. The collection covers many styles of works over numerous centuries so be sure to check back regularly for new listings.



This listing is for two beautiful colored mezzotints pencil singed by the artist Percy Martindale after paintings done by Gilbert Stuart. Each sheet measures about 16.75” x 12.5” . Condition and colors are excellent . The prints depict James Madison’s wife Dolley and the other depicts Martha Washington’s grand daughter Nelly.
