with 28 dramatic lithographic plates and illustrations by J. Willis Grey, quarter cloth backed full colour chromo-lithographed boards, (soldier's in British Reds marching off to war with Nelle and family tearfully following signaling their goodbye), boards are dust worn but very good, internally very good to fine (lt). The illustrations while dramatic are well executed.

Acceptable condition. The hinge is worn. Pages are intact and accounted for, but they are separated from the spine.  Needs to be read delicately. Art and pages look great. Corners and edges of covers have wear. See the photos as the book in the photos is the book that you will receive.
