For sale is one new, old stock*: Montblanc Ballpoint Pen Refill in Black with Fine Point and Giant Adapter Plug; made in Germany. This is a new and genuine product.

*Condition Notes: New, old-stock product, circa 1990s. Packaging distressed. Refill tested and writing but shall likely not have performance life of newer units. While these can often write well, they may skip or immediately run dry. Due to age, refill is primarily intended for those requiring the adapter and collectors. Stock images shown; exact appearance shall vary.

This original refill is suitable for all Montblanc ballpoint pens except the Meisterstück Hommage à W.A. Mozart.

The Montblanc adapter extends current production ballpoint refills for older pens using the Giant refill introduced in the 1970s. It adds approximately 13.5mm to modern 98mm refills for a total length of 111.5mm. It does not work for pens requiring the larger refill of the late 1960s.
