This is a very large, luxurious and illustrated edition of the Self-Interpreting Bible by Reverend John Brown, published by William Mackenzie of Glasgow, Efinburgh London in circa 1870 (I cannot find an exact date but from research it is of this period), The binding is made of premium quality leather, and the book weighs 5.0kg (without boxing and packaging so overall package will be over 5kg) and has lovely gold gilt to all page edges.

The book is in its original form and has not been modified or replicated. It is written in English and contains many beautiful woodcut illustrations including panoramic views, charts, religious images etc. Please just ask if you would like to see more photographs of other images and I can send you more.

This antique book is perfect for collectors of religious, spiritual, and historical literature. It is a genuine piece of European history that has been well-preserved and is in excellent condition. The book is part of the Holy Books category and falls under the Antiquarian & Collectable section of Books.
