Here's a pretty, and pretty scarce Fitch bottle from the early days of the FW Fitch Company in Boone, Iowa. He started the company in 1892 but pert near all of his bottles say "F.W. Fitch Company".  This neat little bottle states at the base in embossed lettering: THIS BOTTLE IS // LOANED BY THE // FITCH // DANDRUFF CURE Co.   I can't prove it but I would dare say an earlier bottle of his. It stands 8" tall without the cork and has a main diameter of 2 3/8". It features its original cork, a nice short ladies leg neck, a recessed ring that probably had an applied label, quite a few bubbles, and whittling on the neck. It's a clear bottle that is slowing turning SCA, or sun colored amethyst, due to the ingredients of the glass. It is very clean with only a few very small scratches on the rear side near the base and some minor interior cloudiness or staining.
