This year due to circumstances out of the ordinary a special ceremony was carried out to mark Her Majesty The Queen's Official Birthday in the Quadrangle, Windsor Castle.  The changing of the Guard was adapted by the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards to carry out this special ceremony and also troop their Colour.

The ceremony begins with the inspection of the Guard outside the Guardroom.

Some of the main features this year are:

2nd Lieutenant Billy Richardson, The Ensign.
Training as testers.
Practising for the ceremony on grass.
