A VERY NICE SELECTION OF 1929 SMALL MULTIPLE WATERMARK KANGAROOS: MINT LIGHTLY HINGED - TOTAL 2021 CV$865
The Small-Multiple (Small Multiple Crown and A) Watermark Kangaroos were printed in Australia (generally) from 1929 through to the early 1940s. They were replaced by the CofA Watermark Kangaroos from 1932 through to 1945. The Australian Commonwealth Specialists' Catalogue "KANGAROOS" (ACSC 2021) lists these at a catalogue value of over $850. As you can see, these marsupials are very fresh from the front (the 2/- MAROON does carry even tone at the back). The remainder are MINT with LIGHT hinge marks or remnants. This is a very pretty mini-set and a very worthy addition to that growing collection of MINT Kangaroos.
