Solid Silver Fusee Pocket Watch circa 1884
In Full Working Order.

Case : solid sterling silver bearing hallmarks for London 1884 with makers mark of C.H assumed to be Charles Harris. Case is in excellent condition with some surface scratching commensurate with age, and some previous inspection marks. All closures snap shut, tight and secure, with all hinges are in good order with the bezel in good order.  Press the top button down, and the rear cover springs open to reveal the watch winding aperture. The rear cover still has crisp engine turning present having an initialled car touché of NL? and 1884, with the case having a serial number of 478 matching the last 3 digits of the movement suggesting they are a matching pair.

Bow Assembly
: in good condition with the bow being secure.

Crystal : is of glass, clear and free from surface scratches being a replacement.

Dial : is in MINT condition and is free from hairline cracks or chipping to the dial edges. Dial is white with black Roman numerals and sub second dial present. All hands are present and are in excellent condition with all hands being of a gold colour.

Movement : full plate 7 jewelled Fusee movement with solid polished steel annular balance running the full length of the wind, and keeping good time, +/- 2 minutes a day or better. The watch has been fully serviced with the balance having a good working action in all positions. The gilding remains in good condition with a couple of light patches, and is free from any corrosion. A serial number of 23478 is present along with Manoah Rhodes & Sons, Bradford. Watch is key set and wound, and a replacement key is supplied with the watch.
