Yellow Flag Iris produces bright yellow blooms in late spring.  After bloom the foliage remains attractive all season long giving the effect of a large ornamental grass.   Often grown as an aquatic plant and is equally suitable for average garden conditions .

An easy to grow perennial that is adaptable to a wide range of soil conditions including in standing water, is drought tolerant, and does not require fertilizers to thrive.  Hardy USDA Zones 4 through 10. Plant in full sun for best flowering but can tolerate light shade.
