This is a listing for a very nice vintage basket.

Woven from wooden splints and Hong Kong

twisted cord.....

Lid with splint handle fits nicely on basket.

Seems to have been dyed burgundy,,dye shows on 

bottom and under the lid.....not on the interior

of the body of the basket. The dye has faded

on this fancy sewing basket. Stands 5 1/2" tall

and about 8" across.  Excellent condition....I see

no broken curls.
