An early Stanley No 55 Combination plane. Has been lightly cleaned and oiled. Stanley Rule & Level with patent dates on base also 55 and letter B in front of handle. F.R. Reynolds is impressed in wood of handle. Please check photos for condition.
The fwd. stop screw housing is damaged photo# 13 (extra washer being used to tighten), also missing is the fwd collar which sits on the bar shown extreme left in photo# 10.
