A beautiful hand made mopa mopa fish carving made by artists from the Quillacingas tribe of Columbia.

In excellent condition.

This 2,000 year old tradition takes the buds of the mopa mopa tree and boils them down to a resin, to which mineral colors are added. The resin is stretched, cut and inlaid in wood to create beautiful designs. Intricate designs are cut into the resin with a knife, giving a hand painted look.

Size is around 6.43 long, 4.36 inches high, and 1.52 inches wide.
