• High Magnesium and high Manganese Alloy

• Marine-grade material = high corrosion resistance

• Achieves its hardness and toughness during the spinning (forging) process

• No heat-treatment needed, therefore eliminating distortion

• The rims are true and round

• Ultimate tensile strength anywhere between 36KSI and 45KSI (same as 6061-T6)

• No heat-treat means there is no need to cut the rims (like 6061) to make them true

• No ‘thick-and-thin’ sections created from cutting

• No bolt breaking issues due to out-of-parallel assembly flange caused by cutting

• The rims achieve their full hardness/toughness during the spinning (forging) process

• Material hardness and toughness can be selectively placed within the rim
