A double valet stand designed by Ico Parisi for Fratelli Requitti. These were produced from the 1940s through to the 1960s.
It is especially suitable for small apartments being very light, compact, and practical.
Made from beechwood and set on 4 small casters, with a hanger for your jacket and shirt, a separate rail for trousers, shoes on the lowest rungs, a ledge for keys and change etc, retractable 'ears' for ties/belts. The FR monogram is on the front support.
A wonderfully clever design by Parisi, practical and very stylish today.

The valet will be flat-packed for shipping. Re-assembly is easy and simple requiring just a screwdriver, easy.

Ico Parisi (Domenico Parisi 1916–1996) was an Italian architect and designer, based in Como. He designed furniture as well as numerous decorative art objects using materials such as ceramics and glass.

Size: about 106 cm high, 44 cm across the coat holder, base is about 36 x 32 cm, weight ±3.5 Kg

Condition: Outstanding vintage condition, with everything as it should be. The stand has been cleaned, the finish revived and all scuffs removed. The timber presents as near new.

Shipping: worldwide tracking via Australia Post. They will first be wrapped bubble before packing securely in a solid box with lots of peanuts – earthquake proof. Our target is to ship within 1 business day of receiving cleared payment. Just occasionally this could extend to 2-3 days, however. I always combine on postage where possible.

International buyers are very welcome, all import duties and any other fees are your responsibility. Items will be declared at the purchase price, we will not ship it as a gift.

Returns are available only if an item is not as described, the photos are an important part of the description. Refunds will be given only on receipt of the returned item, return postage will be at your expense.
