WE GRADE very strictly with accurate descriptions of actual condition. Visual grading of vinyl is determined as follows:
MINT (M): Truly “As New”, as it was when it left the factory. No scuffs, scratches, defects or other indications of being handled or played.
NEAR MINT (NM): Very glossy, no scuffs, scratches or marks. May have been played but very sparingly. Plays with no noise. Label clean & unmarked.
NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-): Still no scratches and nearly flawless, may have the tiniest of small scuffs, a light finger mark or two, labels clean & unmarked.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): May have 1-3 very minor scuffs, possibly a hairline scratch or two or small finger marks. Vinyl shiny, possible light spindle marks.
VERY GOOD (VG): Some minor scratches or scuffs, still has good luster. Labels may have minor imperfections, small writing, light spindle marks, etc.
