for sale my easy restoration project 1976 R reg ford escort mk2 RS2000 due to unforseen circumstanes ive sadly decided to sell my RS2000 its an early model in rare midnight blue 9 owners full v5 present and in my name hpi clear  will need a full restoration but overall a solid car theres a patch that needs welding on the passenger floorpan and a few other small areas but overall shes a solid car  comes with a recently rebuilt early 2.0 pinto engine new h/c pistons (0.5 mm so on its 1st rebore ) new bearings  etc etc  i have video of this engine running reconditioned type 9 5 speed gearbox full alloy rs spec on the engine n gearbox (sump bellhousing mounts brackets)  ready 2 bolt in has a fast road cam fitted a full bestek ignition system a quik shift on the gearbox but completely standard otherwise fitted with  a rebuilt Weber 32/36 dgav twin choke  with  original and correct early single hole  Airbox with all correct fixing brackets n clamp not the later capri set up original cast RS exhaust  manifold that's been x-rayed prior 2 fitting  as theyre prone 2 cracking  has a wc x-member quik rack steering bilstein front legs rear disk conversion with bilstein shocks single leaf-springs  fully polybushed throughout  English axle unsure if it's a lsd or the ratio as I've not checked     i was going 2 put these uprated parts back to original but each 2 there own,,full genuine black roll top interior comes with the car 1 headrest is mislaid but I 100% have it so I will pass it on 2 the new prospective owner when I find it ,, i will list any other parts ive got and any that r missing in the next few days ,,  this is priced 2 sell quickly these awesome collectors cars rarely come up at this price and are a much better investment than money in the bank   ALREADY HAD MOST OF THE WELDING N BODYWORK  DONE BY THE  PREVIOUS OWNER 6+ YEARS AGO BUT BEEN IN DRY STORAGE SINCE...EVERYBODYS STANDARDS ARE DIFFERENT HENCE WHY I'VE STATED IN THE LISTING THAT SHE NEEDS A FULL RESTORATION.
